About CSCP

The Institute for Scientific Computation (ISC), in conjunction with the departments of Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science, has created the Computational Sciences Certificate Program (CSCP).
The
development of CSCP has been motivated by increasing use of computational
techniques in solving complex science and engineering problems. Graduates with
this certificate will be poised to assume the intellectual leadership roles
that the 21st century demands.
CSCP is targeted to current science and engineering graduate students. This new program will provide graduate students with a broad-based multidisciplinary enhancement to their degree and the intellectual tools they need to be leaders in computational science, engineering, and technology. With the addition of a few courses from each of the three disciplines in mathematics, statistics and computer sciences, graduates of the program will receive an official certified transcript that will add value and marketability to their advanced degree.
