Jean S. Baggett, CPA, joined the Institute for Scientific Computation in May 2005 as the Director of Business Operations. Before joining the ISC, Ms. Baggett worked with the Geochemical and Environmental Research Group, from 1996 through 2000, as the Senior Associate Director (1996-2000).
At GERG, Ms. Baggett developed and supervised implementation of all financial policies, procedures and reporting in support of the sound financial management of research organizations. She was responsible for project budgets and maintenance of required payroll-related documents and forms, including allocations of salaries and wages to research projects.
Ms. Baggett also has significant experience in the private sector. –She successfully negotiated plans of reorganization with creditor and equity security holders groups from 1989 to 1994.
